American Animal Hospital Association

On May 13, 2010 Animal Medical Care was recertified as an AAHA hospital!  We were extensively inspected by a trained AAHA inspector, graded, and were granted recertification.   Our cllnic meets the AAHA standards for management, procedures, cleanliness, and operational excellence.  We are proud of our staff and their ability to provide the very best.

AAHA

Animal Medical Care made the decision to become AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) accredited in 2008.  AAHA is the flagship organization through which the best standard and practices flow.  Being an accredited hospital means we are held to the highest standards in all areas of veterinary medicine and services.  We are very proud of our accreditation and the tools it provides to us.

To become accredited we have to undergo rigorous inspection in all areas of our practice every two years.  Certified AAHA inspectors come to our hospital and examine our business management practices such as record keeping and client care.  The inspectors also thoroughly examine our medical procedures and protocols.  Once the inspection is complete, we are made aware of what we are doing right and more importantly where we can make improvements.

Why would we want to be inspected and accredited?  The extra effort is important because we hold ourselves accountable.  We want to be know what we can do better so that we can provide the best care.  We are passionate about caring for our clients and their pets and we want to know that we are providing the very best.
